Glock vs xd
The main difference was the grip, and the feel of the grip. 9mm really don't have that much recoil, and I really couldn't tell any difference in recoil, yet the grip on the Glock would make the recoil uncomfortable in the web of my hand after a number of rounds, but I could shoot the XD without such issue.
To upgrade a Springfield trigger is about $125-200. A Glock upgrade is $25 and five minutes of time. I really wanted XS sights on my XDM but refuse to send away a pistol for any length of time. However I installed XS sights on my Glock in about 15 minutes. Just tap out the cheesey plastic sights and your good to go!

Yeah, not sure why the XD crowd gets all up in arms like they do about Glocks. I don't have any problem with the XD's, the XD45's I've owned shot well and never malfunctioned (ever). Both triggers were comparable with the XD-m being slightly better. All 3 triggers, the XD9, XD45 & XD-m 45, were all similar, but the XD9 has the best/lightest one and easiest to manipulate. The glock trigger felt better, especially trying to put multiple shots on target. I felt i could do that faster vs the springfield.
