The Sullivan County Humane Society is a community engaged nonprofit committed to improving the quality of life for animals within our county and to putting an end to animal overpopulation, abandonment, and neglect. Through top notch loving care we offer our animals the best chance for a fresh start.

At the Humane Society of the Upper Valley our mission is to promote the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty and increase humane awareness and compassion for all creatures through humane education, spay and neuter assistance, and adoption programs for stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. They are involved in all areas of the Upper Credit Humane Society, including: animal care, organizing and attending special events, fundraising, office help, yard work and gardening, light maintenance duties and a variety of roles at our Thrift Shop.
