Teleoceras was a genus of rhinoceros (Perissodactyla, Rhinocerotidae) that inhabited Mexico´ during the Late Hemphillian; their remains have been found in several localities (Carranza-Castaneda, 1989, 2006). This animal˜ has been the subject of multiple studies to identify species within the genus that lived in Mexico during the Late Hemphillian.
