It most likely conflicting with hyrdocraft I have had it happen with other types of seeds before. I had the same problem with hydrocraft, install the cheat mod and Learn all recipes. It’s the only way I found to be able to sow seeds. I assume it’s in a book somewhere….

If you have a generator and fuel, then this becomes moot. For potatoes, I’d suggest a 10 or 12 day rotation. Plant every 10-12 days to be safe.
