After my buddy purchased his Harbor Freight Predator 9000 watt Generator(I should do the same) he had an electrician friend come over and somehow tap into the homes circuit breaker box(if I said that right) to give the new HF generator its own electrical box that it(the generator) can be connect to on the outside of the home.
