Pediatric psychology programs

The mental health program at Children’s Minnesota is staffed by doctoral-level psychology experts who diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health issues in children and teens. Our psychologists and psychiatrists are leaders in their fields who are skilled at understanding kids and their problems — and helping parents understand, too.

Pediatric psychology programs. It is the philosophy of our program that all trainees receive experience in direct clinical care, exposure to behavioral research within an academic medical center, and didactic seminars focused on application of the biopsychosocial model and professionalism within pediatric psychology. The Training Committee oversees all psychology trainees.

The Society of Pediatric Psychology (Division 54 of the American Psychological Association) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
