Advanced Studies is a scholarship program for former foster youth who have received a college degree and want to pursue advanced studies, and have a current or past connection to Orangewood Foundation. History. Our Scholarship Students. Samueli Academy, a program of Orangewood Foundation, is a free, public charter high school in Santa Ana. Samueli Academy is not a typical high school! Its small class sizes, caring staff, hands-on learning style, and engineering and design pathways make it a unique and fulfilling high school experience.
