Overall this is the ideal first OMSCS course if you are new to CS. The programming is straightforward, the class is very well-run, TAs are awesome, and all assignments are released at the beginning of the semester with no revisions to instructions. My thoughts may echo others but felt the need to express how frustrating this course was, outside of the CIOS survey. The lectures were difficult to follow and the examples provided were minimal support to completing several of the problems early on.

ISYE-6740 | OMSCentral. We only had one exam, a cumulative, open book, open note final that I found relatively easy. It was a good representation of the material covered. As long as you completed the homeworks, you should be fine. Are a citizen in one of the exempted countries, or attended a university / college there for a minimum of one academic year.
