Now I am a big fan of the idea of occult scaled weapons and the AOW like phantom spear (side rant phantom slash 100% should be an occult scaled attack, I am happy it's not since it just makes it better, but logically it 100% should be occult) I prefer not one with status, just occult, but when looking at how weapons scale with occult they don't seem to scale very well. occult weapons are likely not buffable because the occult affinity causes a weapons innate status effect to scale with arcane. dex and str get the possibility of extra damage with greases, occult gets increased status buildup. status effects, especially bleed, are much stronger than grease/bundles and the damage is comparable to heavy/keen infusion.
