Mt. Spokane is closer but is pretty much the same price as 49 Degrees North. The lodge is so-so and the lifts seem a bit more dated than 49's lifts. They groom more than 49 from what I could tell and I've only been twice. Both are easy to get to and the roads are well maintained even at peak of the season.
