There are plenty of viable builds that don't involve either Blightcaller or Stabbomancer. What's evident is Gearbox massively nerfing Stabbo's damage potential with DoTs, then conveniently introducing a DLC class with a DoT focus too, and with the same damage potential as Contagion Stabbo had initially.
