Peterson joined the legendary Jackie Stiles to become just the second girl in Kansas track and field history to sweep the four distance races at state, winning 2A titles in the 400 (1:00.15.), 800 (2:18.70), 1,600 (4:54.00) and 3,200 (10:52.65) last year. The 1,600 time was a personal best and set a Class 2A meet record.
