Many 4-year colleges offer transfer scholarships to PTK members, anywhere from $500 a semester to full-ride tuition scholarships just for being a member. That doesn't include all of the competitive scholarship opportunities! It also looks great on a resume. It is unfortunate that PTK is doing this, as so many community college students don't have $90 to spare, but think that this is important or will help them in some way.
