Tao with a blossom build and an illusion. I always had successfull runs when going on granades which Summon swords, then I went on the defensive skill that gives me max. Shield for every sword that's sommoned, combined with the 50% chance of not consuming grenades that's pretty nice. Obviously sword DMG too.

Bloom + spores is the meta for campaign, but that's not the case for this game mode. Without the blessing Blossom Enthusiast this build isn't worth committing to in Assault. Tao lacks a spiritual Ascension that focuses purely on fatal bloom, so its extremely weak in this mode. You are better off just focusing on Mainstay and Blade Rain ascensions.Gunfire Reborn.
