Ffxiv instant portrait not working

Go into the settings of your plate and take a picture of all the lighting/camera sliders with your phone. Once you get those sliders reset on the new portrait, it's just a matter of tinkering with the camera and pose until you match the old portrait. I've had to do that a few times before I finally settled on one plate setup.

From the main menu, select Character and open the Portraits menu to display a list of your currently assigned gear set portraits. Once you have chosen which instant portrait you want to edit, right-click on the applicable gear set and select "Import Settings from Adventurer Plate" from the subcommand menu. If you change anything on your gear, remeld materia, or manually apply a plate, it'll reset to default. The most obnoxious is manually applying a plate.
