Jul 8, 2014 · Eben Junction is convenient to get to from Marquette or Munising and we struck out the day after a blizzard to see the caves. We saw the yellow signs for "Ice Caves" after getting into Eben Junction and followed them back to a parking area that had been plowed out the day before. Thank you to whoever keeps that road plowed! Visiting the Eben Ice Caves was first on our list. Needless to say it was absolutely incredible. The trail back to the ice caves is 2.2 miles round trip and very well-maintained.
