Brutal Momentum on Axes - The classic, primarily on Combat Axes but also Tactical, this thing currently completely nullifies the one drawback of the weapon type. Horde Clear. Horde Clear. It'll let you chew through a pack of poxwalkers like nothing and makes the weapon super all-rounded.Simply because of that, you can do better but the high crit+shred makes it pretty good already. It can just be a fair bit better. Low penetration is annoying as well. The Tac Axe Mk2 has the best and simplest moveset. Spam Heavy Attacks, but it won’t cleave that well without the right talents. Tactical Axe (MK II, and VII) with Brutal Momentum is similar to Combat Axe, but you’ll have to click a lot more than Combat Axe so I don’t really recommend it for the user experience.
