Mar 21, 2022 · I began installing the Brennans Garage disc brake brackets that came with my '48 2A. I finished up the drivers side this past weekend. It is an easy installation for the front axle, I bought the calipers, rotors, wheel bearings, seals from rock auto. Already had a pair of used hubs so I removed the lug studs and installed Dorman p/n 610-034 ... This is the mounting bolt that holds the bed firmly to your Jeep. Then there are two braces that attach to your bumper and extend 45 degrees up to the floor of the new bed. This will help for heavy loads and take the strain off of the rear of the body chain latch slots.An M-38 drivers seat frame is different than a CJ3A, the front right mounting foot is completely different from a CJ3A. So keep in mind if you find standard CJ3A seat frames the fronts will bolt into the same holes as the 2A frame. Not so with the M-38 frame.
