That most of modern day Azerbaijani culture in Azerbaijan is adopted or heavily influenced from it's surrounding neighbors. Turkic influence is not as influence as the Caucasus. In the Caucasus, the only influence Turks had was converting the Northern Caucasus into Islam, some loanwords, and some food practices like Tea and Coffee.
