The river embraces the oak-canopied grounds of Peace River Campground. Besides RV camping, it offers a wilderness camping area. Canoe Outpost-Peace River. Today the water level is 10'-8" above normal and rising! We have strong restrictions due to this high water. Every one has to be 18 and above. Everyone has to be an excellent swimmer and an experienced paddler. Everyone must wear their lifejacket. If you stay in the middle of the river, you shouldn't have a problem.
