Bxpanded ripper

My thought was that the 12" can do anything the 16" can (although maybe slower in soft dirt), but the 16" can't do everything the 12" can. I also got the BXpanded ripper and quick changer because when the clay is dry and compacted or rooted, even the 12 won't break thru. My other theory was that if it's really wet, I'm not out digging anyway.

Jan 14, 2022 · Hydraulic thumb on 2025R 260B here. Would not be without it. I use it most often with the BXpanded ripper when digging out stumps to grab the roots after they are ripped loose and pull them out to set aside. It is also good for getting rocks and chunks of stump out of the way.
