Twelve talented teams representing eight countries spent a total of 94 hours — and braved single-digit temperatures — hand-carving their spectacular creations.

Snow sculpture in Breckenridge began in the 1970s at Main Street businesses like Moore & Co. Back in the 1970s, during Ullr Fest, amateur teams made sculptures from giant heaps of snow in front of shops on Main Street.
