Ark best stone gatherer

Highly recommended must have dino for everyone. One of ark’s essential tames alongside the trike (berries), anky (metal), argent (heavy travel), ptera (quick travel & argent taming), and beaver (wood). Why can’t the doedicurus damage stone if it literally is the number 1 stone gatherer.
